Full text of the Valedictory Address of Hon. Ma. Angelica Bianca B. Requinto-Espinosa, Outgoing PPSK President. “Hon. Vice Governor Christine “Ting-Ting” S. Garin, Fellow members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, honored guests, friends and family, maayong’ hapon sa tanan. “Where are the youth who will consecrate their golden hours, their illusions, and their enthusiasm to the welfare of their native land?" We all know these words of our foremost national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. It was his plaintive plea to the youth on the eve of the 1898 Philippine Revolution. It was also a veritable call to arms. For one, I know that Sangguniang Kabataan is a brainchild of the 8th Philippine Congress. This was the first legislature to serve the nation after the 1986 People Power Revolution. It was the esteemed law-making body spawned by the 1987 Constitution, which had sought to rebuilt democracy and shake off all vestiges of disgraced dictatorship. Full text of the Valedictory Address of Hon. Dorothy G. Paes, Outgoing Liga President. “The Honorable Presiding Officer, Vice Governor Christine “Ting-Ting” S. Garin, my esteemed colleagues, fellow workers in the government, distinguished guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. I am humbled and honored to stand before you today as I conclude my term as an Ex-Officio Member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, representing the Liga ng mga Barangay in the Province of Iloilo.  Allow me to express my profound gratitude to my fellow Ilonggos for giving me the opportunity to serve. The journey was not without struggle and heartaches. My courage, strength, and faith has been tested. But your support in me has made me overcome these obstacles. I can say that my years in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan were years of fulfillment, having been able to serve you to the best of my ability. At this point, I would like to thank everyone who has been part of my journey for the last five years.
